I just got back from Easy Street. I managed to pick up a *used* copy of the following:
Rawkus Presents - The Cleaner
It is clearly labeled: For Promotional Use Only. Not For Sale Or Bootleg.
And oddly enough, I *cannot* find this disc referenced on the Internet. Its not on Amazon. A google search on the title yields a completely different tracklist. It just technically doesnt exist. Sweet for me.
Because .. this is a sick CD. Can I just say:

This is the 3rd Rawkus CD I have gotten used from that particular Easy Street. Not to mention, I also picked up a used copy of Lyricist's Lounge from the same store.
Which only goes to further my theory...
Somebody somewhere in Seattle is stealing good shit from people and selling it to this Easy Street. No one just casually goes over to a Rawkus Compilation and thinks, "Hrmm, maybe this would be good. I think I might try it. Dabble a bit, and expand my horizons. What do you say, Buffy? Do you think this could be 'dope', in the parlance of street urchins?"
Nope, they dont think that. Someone buys Rawkus if they expect to really like Rawkus. Usually, if they *already* like Rawkus. Which means, THEY AINT FUCKING SELLING IT BACK.
I blame shady tweakers. They are busting into your base, and killin your dudes. Stealing your musik. Hawking your warez. BEWARE!
