Stuff I want.

I love my D80 :) Gorgeou camera.. but you should go into a shop and hold one and see if it feels right in your hands. I tried the Canon 400d (I think it's called something else in USA) and I didn't get on with it, plus almost all the reviews I read pointed me in the Nikon direction.

Also I want a tablet thingy too!

AND televisions in the bedroom? Can I just say passion killer?!!? We got rid of ours and life is MUCH nicer all round without one in! Just my opinion!! :)

Because of zooming and moving the digital paper around, you don't really need a large tablet for large work. Some people prefer it but, personally, I recommend a mid-size. I bought a small and it's too small. But 12xWhatever would be too large. So far, I prefer the mid-size tablet.

Jode - totally not a passion killer. I am more than capable of resisting the TV. I didnt even have one for years. Its not really a problem. For me.

Luckily I have an awesome camera store just 6 blocks up the street :) I would definitely hold it before I bought it. Thats basically one reason I never buy stuff online :)

Yabbut, what did you hate about the large tablet? Its physical size?

I think a lot of the models are basically the same total size. Its just the actionable area is smaller on some.

It's not about resisting the tv in my case, it's more since we came back from our yurt holiday, and not having a tv in our room was bliss. The room isn't so dusty and I *personally* feel it zaps the fresh energy out of a room. I wish I could actually throw all our tv's away sometimes!

I love having a room purely for sleeping, lovin' and maybe reading! I love my little boudoir! ;)

p.s. do you really never buy -anything- online?! Even if it's cheaper?

You know ... Im normally all about the ambiguous "vibe" thingy for rooms. But I have never felt anything off coming from a TV.

Considering I will do any of those things you mentioned ... just about anywhere in the house ... I dont need a special place just for them :)

I dont care if its cheaper. You cannot replace face-to-face interaction. And instant gratification is good - when I finally decide to buy something big (usually after tormenting myself on it forever) ... I want it *right* then.
