Piggybacking inspirative works.
Fueled by the fire of yesterday's posts, I went out and purchased some purple-toned markers (from the Tombow collection) so that I could possibly revive that piece I was working on a few months ago.
I also purchased a sketchbook, and the following:
I did so with the aim to spend a little bit of time here and there working on my figure drawing skills. I also looked for some good Manga Female drawing books for reference, but was unable to find anything. I would settle for anything that shows a lot of the female form, or talks about female figure drawing techniques ... as I find the subject ultimately fascinating.
Would love to get a head breakdown reference - displaying the proper sketchlines for facial features and whatnot, from a variety of perspectives. Cause I have always loved faces, and could probably use some refreshing there too.
We shall see where this goes.
