Oh My. I am in Love!

I found an artist that is amazing. I would *absolutely love* to own something of hers. To see her art in person. To understand her process of creation.

I poked about her website and just instantly fell in love with everything. So wonderful, so inspiring. I was hard pressed to find anything I didnt like ... so here is just a small snippet of her conjured beauty...

Her style is amazing. Her pieces are a perfect instantiation of the types of things that I have been dreaming about making in this series I have had conjured in my mind for almost a decade. I just cannot get over the striking beauty and inspiration I am finding here.

The use of color, of line, of suggestivity ... and wood (wood!)

How ironic! I have an entire VOX collection of hers AND....my avatar thingie on VOX is one of her works. So glad you found her too! She's incredible! I'm planning on getting one of her "doodles" done on my side as a tattoo...I emailed her to get her permission and she gave me her blessing. Here is the doodle. I'll probably change the hair a little since it was pointed out that it looks like a nose...
